Create an organization in the public cloud

An organization is a unit of administration that includes users, virtual data centers, networks, and virtual machines.

Within one control panel account you can create one organization in each region (St. Petersburg and Moscow).

When the organization is created, you can create virtual data centers in it. An empty organization is not charged — you are charged only when virtual datacenters are available, see VMware Public Cloud Payment Model and Pricing for more information.

Create an organization⁠

  1. In the Dashboard, on the top menu, click Products and select VMware-based Cloud.
  2. If you already have an organization, click on its name in the format s-xxxxxx.
  3. Click Create Organization.
  4. Select a region.
  5. Click Create Organization.
