Account Notifications

You can receive email notifications:

  • on the state of the infrastructure and the balance sheet;
  • changes to the tickets;
  • the notifications that come in control panel.

Email notifications are categorized into categories and they can have different accessibility.

A user with the Account Owner role receives all notifications. Subscribe a user to a category or write her off Only users with the Account Owner or User Administrator roles can do this.

For the category "Balance and payments" you can connect notifications in Telegram.

Notification categories

For your information

A user with the Subscriber role can only access the Accounting Documents and Balance and Payments categories.

Account and contract
  • Changing profile data;
  • contract modification;
  • changing the terms and conditions of the affiliate program;
  • changes in the terms and conditions of services;
  • account deletion
Accounting documents
  • Invoices to pay;
  • reporting documents;
  • change in payment information;
  • EDI information;
  • change in payment processing
Balance and payments
  • Indebtedness;
  • refund;
  • postponement of blocking or deletion of the resource for non-payment;
  • a debit from the account;
  • replenishment problems
Planned works
  • Technical work that affects your infrastructure;
  • accidents and malfunctions
Services and facilities
  • The status of services and services used;
  • ordering new infrastructure;
  • product updates

Availability of notifications

Notices may be available:

  • to all users;
  • account level users — roles Account Owner, Account Administrator, Billing Administrator, User Administrator, Subscriber;
  • users with access to the project — Project Administrator and Project Supervisor roles for the selected project, as well as all account level users.

Availability is determined when you create a notification on the Selectel side, you cannot change it.

Subscribe to a notification category

For your information

Only users with the Account Owner and User Administrator roles can subscribe to a notification category.

  1. В control panels go to Access controlAccount Notifications.
  2. Open the tab User subscriptions → tab of the desired notification category.
  3. Click Add recipients.
  4. Select the recipients of the notifications.
  5. Click Add.

Unsubscribe from the notification category

For your information

Only users with the Account Owner and User Admin roles can unsubscribe a user from a notification category. A user with the Account Owner role cannot be unsubscribed from notifications.

  1. В control panels go to Access controlAccount Notifications.
  2. Open the tab User subscriptions → tab of the desired notification category.
  3. In the row with the desired user, click .
  4. Enter the user's email.
  5. Click Delete. The user will be notified that they are unsubscribed from notifications.

Connect notifications in Telegram

For your information

Notifications in Telegram are not available for users with the Subscriber role.

If you are subscribed to the "Balance and Payments" category notifications, you can connect Telegram notifications. If you are not subscribed to the Balance & Payments category, please contact your Account Owner or User Admin first — they can subscribe you to the desired notification category.

  1. Authorize on Telegram.
  2. В control panels go to Access controlAccount Notifications.
  3. In the block Telegram click Connect.
  4. Scan the QR code or follow the link on Telegram.
  5. Send the command /start.

Turn off notifications in Telegram

  1. В control panels go to Access controlAccount Notifications.
  2. In the block Telegram click Disconnect.
