Configure 1C server cluster disk autoscaling

Principle of operation

Autoscaling is available and enabled by default for clusters of 1C servers of fixed configuration of Standard line and arbitrary configuration, if necessary, it can be enabled and disabled manually.

If the disk of the 1C server cluster is 80% full within 3 hours, a scaling task will be created to prevent down time. The disk will be scaled up by 15% of the current size, but not less than 20 GB.

The scaling task will appear in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products1C Ready Cloud1C Server Cluster section → Cluster page → Maintenance tab and will be executed in the next maintenance window. Increasing the disk of the 1C Server Cluster in the control panel before scaling will cancel the task.

Autoscaling will turn off automatically if you change the configuration to the HighFreq lineup or when the maximum disk size reaches 1TB.

It is impossible to reduce the disk size after autoscaling, as it may violate the integrity of the disk file system and data — you can create a new cluster of 1C servers with a smaller disk.
