Scale 1C server cluster
warning
During 1C server cluster scaling, all associated info-bases may be temporarily unavailable.
We recommend planning maintenance for times of minimal cluster load and using session locks for associated info-bases.
When scaling, you can:
- change the configuration;
- change the line — from Standard to HighFreq and vice versa;
- change the number of resources in the current fixed or custom configuration — vCPU, RAM, and network volume size. The number of vCPU and RAM can be decreased or increased, but the disk size cannot be decreased.
- Optional: set session locks for the duration of the work.
- In the Control panel, from the top menu, click Products and select Managed 1C Cloud.
- Go to the 1C Server Cluster section.
- In the cluster row, check its status — if the cluster is in the
MAINTENANCEstatus, it is undergoing technical maintenance and is unavailable for scaling. Wait for the maintenance to complete. Read more in the Maintenance window instructions. - Open the cluster page.
- Click Scale cluster.
- Select the configuration. The number of vCPU and RAM can be increased or decreased, but the disk size cannot be decreased.
- Specify the required amount of resources. The cluster uses 90% of the selected resource volume; the remaining 10% is reserved for the Apache web server, which handles web publications of info-bases.
- Click Save.
- Optional: if you set session locks in step 1, remove them.
