Scale 1C server cluster

Last update:
warning

During 1C server cluster scaling, all associated info-bases may be temporarily unavailable.

We recommend planning maintenance for times of minimal cluster load and using session locks for associated info-bases.

When scaling, you can:

  • change the configuration;
  • change the line — from Standard to HighFreq and vice versa;
  • change the number of resources in the current fixed or custom configuration — vCPU, RAM, and network volume size. The number of vCPU and RAM can be decreased or increased, but the disk size cannot be decreased.
  1. Optional: set session locks for the duration of the work.
  2. In the Control panel, from the top menu, click Products and select Managed 1C Cloud.
  3. Go to the 1C Server Cluster section.
  4. In the cluster row, check its status — if the cluster is in the MAINTENANCE status, it is undergoing technical maintenance and is unavailable for scaling. Wait for the maintenance to complete. Read more in the Maintenance window instructions.
  5. Open the cluster page.
  6. Click Scale cluster.
  7. Select the configuration. The number of vCPU and RAM can be increased or decreased, but the disk size cannot be decreased.
  8. Specify the required amount of resources. The cluster uses 90% of the selected resource volume; the remaining 10% is reserved for the Apache web server, which handles web publications of info-bases.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Optional: if you set session locks in step 1, remove them.
