Payment model and mobile farm prices

Last update:

Balance

A single balance or a primary balance is used to pay for the mobile farm depending on the type of balances in the account.

You can pay for the mobile farm with different types of funds: basic funds, bonuses.

Before adding devices to your mobile farm , top up your balance.

Tariffication

When you add a device to the mobile farm, you must select a billing type for the device. The billing type determines the length of the pay period, the payment amount, and the payment model.

The first paid period starts when the mobile device is added to the mobile farm. When the paid period ends, the mobile farm device is automatically extended for the same period. If necessary, you can change the billing rate. If you change to a different billing rate, the principle of changing the billing rate will be used.

Types of tariffication

  • by the minute;
  • hourly;
  • monthly subscription.

Principle of change of tariffication

If you change from a billing rate with a shorter paid period to a longer one, the billing rate will be changed immediately.

note

For example, you switch from per minute billing to a 1-month subscription. Payment for one month of device usage will be charged immediately. Payment for the minutes spent will be charged at the end of the hour.

If you change from a billing rate with a longer paid period to a shorter one, the billing rate will change only when the paid period ends.

Change billing

  1. In the dashboard, from the top menu, click Products and select Mobile Farm.
  2. Go to the Devices section.
  3. From the device's menu, select Change Charging.
  4. Select a billing rate.
  5. Click Save changes. If you switch to a different billing type, the principle of billing change will be used.

Payment Model

The payment model depends on the billing rate you choose.

The pay-as-you-go payment model is used for mobile farm devices with per-minute and hourly billing. Every hour your balance is debited for the previous hour of device usage. All mobile farm devices are charged even if you are not using them. If you no longer need the mobile farm device, delete the device.

note

For example, if you ordered a mobile device with per-minute billing at 12:20 and removed the device at 12:50, you will be charged for 30 minutes of usage at 13:00.

If you order a mobile device with hourly billing at 12:20pm and remove the device at 1:10pm, you will be charged for two full hours 12:00-14:00pm at 2:00pm.

Blocking resources if there are insufficient funds in the balance

If at the moment of debiting there are not enough funds on the balance for full payment, the terms of service blocking depend on the tariffication:

  • per minute or per hour - devices are immediately blocked and deleted without the possibility of recovery;
  • 1-month subscription - during one month the devices can be used on credit. If during this month you do not top up the balance by an amount sufficient to pay the debt and the next month of device use, the devices will be blocked and deleted without possibility of recovery.

Projects are not locked or deleted - you can delete a project via the Cloud Platform Projects and Resources API.

You can set up balance notifications to ensure you don't miss recharges.

Prices

The price of Mobile Farm devices is the same for all devices and does not depend on the manufacturer and operating system. You can view the price in the control panel when adding a device.
