Mobile farm payment model and pricing

Balance

To pay for a mobile farm, a unified balance or main balance is used, depending on the type of balance in your account.

You can pay for a mobile farm with different types of funds: primary funds or bonuses.

Before adding devices to a mobile farm, top up your balance.

Billing

When adding a device to a mobile farm, you need to select a billing option for it. The billing option determines the duration of the paid period, the payment amount, and the payment model.

The first paid period begins the moment a mobile device is added to the mobile farm. When the paid period ends, the mobile farm device is automatically renewed for the same period. If necessary, you can change the billing option. When switching to a different billing option, the billing change principle will be applied.

Billing types

• per-minute;
• per-hour;
• 1-month subscription.

Billing change principle

If you switch from a billing type with a shorter paid period to one with a longer one, the billing will be changed immediately.

For example, you are switching from per-minute billing to a 1-month subscription. Payment for one month of device usage will be charged immediately. Payment for the minutes used will be charged at the end of the hour.

If you switch from a billing type with a longer paid period to one with a shorter one, the billing will change only once the paid period ends.

Change billing

1. In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Mobile Farm.
2. Go to the Devices section.
3. In the device menu, select Change billing.
4. Select a billing type.
5. Click Save changes. When switching to a different billing option, the billing change principle will be applied.

Payment model

The payment model depends on the billing type you chose.

Per-minute and per-hour billing

Mobile farm devices with per-minute and per-hour billing use a pay-as-you-go payment model. Funds for the previous hour of device use are deducted from the balance every hour. All mobile farm devices are charged for, even if you are not using them. If a mobile farm device is no longer needed, delete the device.

For example, if you ordered a mobile device with per-minute billing at 12:20 and deleted it at 12:50, the payment for 30 minutes of use will be charged at 13:00.

If you ordered a mobile device with per-hour billing at 12:20 and deleted the device at 13:10, at 14:00 you will be charged for two full hours, 12:00-14:00.

1-month subscription

Mobile farm devices with a 1-month subscription are paid for with a one-time payment once per month. When adding devices, the payment for the first month is charged from the balance, and subsequent payments are charged automatically at the beginning of each following month of device use.

During the paid period, you can replace a device with any other one from the list of available mobile farm devices. When replacing a device, you do not need to pay for the subscription again.

When paying, bonuses are deducted first, followed by primary funds. If there are insufficient bonus funds, the remainder is deducted from the primary funds.

For example, a mobile farm device costs 3 000 ₽/month. You have 2 500 ₽ in primary funds, and 500 ₽ in bonuses. In this case, when renewing the service, 500 ₽ will be deducted from bonuses first, followed by 2 500 ₽ from primary funds.

To disable payments for mobile devices via 1-month subscription, disable the monthly payment. Disabling the monthly payment constitutes a cancellation of the service.

Blocking resources if there are insufficient funds on the balance

If at the time of the charge there are insufficient funds on the balance for full payment, the service blocking conditions depend on the billing type:

• per-minute or per-hour — devices are blocked immediately and deleted without the possibility of recovery;
• 1-month subscription — you can use devices on credit for one month. If you do not top up your balance with an amount sufficient to pay off the debt and cover the next month of device use within this month, the devices will be blocked and deleted without the possibility of recovery.

Projects are not blocked or deleted — you can delete a project via the Cloud Platform Projects and Resources API.

To avoid missing balance top-ups, you can configure balance notifications.

View consumption

Mobile farm infrastructure consumption and payment charts can be viewed in the Control Panel: from the top menu, click Products → Mobile Farm → the Consumption section → the Consumed and Paid tabs.

You can view consumption for specific projects and devices. Consumption and payment charts can be viewed for a specific time period or sorted by days, weeks, months, or years.

To export consumption and payment details in .csv format, click Download CSV and select how the rows in the export will be grouped (by hours, days, weeks, months, or years).

All resource locks are displayed on the consumption and payment charts.

Prices

The price for mobile farm devices is the same for all devices and does not depend on the manufacturer or operating system. You can view the price in the Control panel when adding a device.
