Set up connection to 1C
You can connect to 1C in the ready cloud via web client, thin client and thick client (configurator). To connect via thin and thick client you need to configure the connection beforehand.
Set up a thin client connection
You can connect to 1C through a thin client:
- on a private network on Selectel's infrastructure;
- over the internet from any device.
On a private network
Over the Internet
- Prepare the cloud server.
- Install a thin client.
- Create a private connection in the cluster settings.
- Add the information base to the thin client.
1. Prepare the cloud server

Make sure that you have created a cloud server in the same pool where the required information base is located. You can view the pool of information base in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready 1C Cloud → Information bases section → information base card. The list of cloud servers can be viewed in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud Servers → Servers section.

Make sure to add the cloud server to a private subnet. You can view the server subnets in the Control Panel: from the top menu, click Products →Cloud Servers → Servers section → Server page → Ports tab.
2. Install the thin client

Install the thin client on the cloud server. The version of the thin client must match the 1C version in the ready cloud. You can view the version of 1C in the ready cloud in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready Cloud 1C → section 1C Server Clusters → Cluster page → Settings tab . The client of the required version can be downloaded from the 1C:Program Update service.
3. Create a private connection in the cluster settings

In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products → 1C Ready Cloud → 1C Server Clusters section.

Open the cluster page → Connection tab.

If you have an internet connection, remove it by clicking in the connection block.

Select the connection type — Private.

Select the private network to which the prepared cloud server is added can be viewed in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud Servers → Servers section → Server page → Ports tab.

Click Create Connection. The selected private network will automatically become available for the service project in the ready 1C cloud. The service project will be displayed in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud Servers → Network section → Private Networks tab → Network page → Projects tab.
4. Add the information base to the thin client

Connect to a cloud server where where you installed the thin client.

Start the thin client.

Click Add.

Select Add to list an existing information base.

Select the option of base location On the 1C:Enterprise server.

In the Server Cluster field, paste the connection address, you can copy it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready 1C Cloud → section Information bases → Information base page → Connection tab → Thick client block.

In the Information Base Name field, insert the name of the information base, you can copy it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready Cloud 1C → section Information Bases → Information Base page → Connection tab.

Click Next.

Optional: change the startup parameters.

Click Finish.
1. Install the thin client
Install the thin client. The version of the thin client must match the 1C version in the ready cloud. 2. Add the information base to the thin client

Open the thin client.

To add an information base to the list, click Add.

Select Add to list an existing information base.

Select the option of base location On the 1C:Enterprise server.

In the Server Cluster field, paste the connection address, you can copy it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready 1C Cloud → section Information bases → Information base page → Connection tab → Thin client / WEB block .

In the Information Base Name field, insert the name of the information base, you can copy it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready Cloud 1C → section Information Bases → Information Base page → Connection tab.

Click Next.

Optional: change the startup parameters.

Click Finish.
Configure connection via thick client (configurator)
You can connect to 1C through a thick client:
- over a private network from the Selectel infrastructure;
- over the internet from any device.
On a private network

- Create a private connection in the cluster settings.
- Add the information base to the thick client.
1. Prepare the cloud server

2. Install the thick client (configurator)

Install the thick client, use the instructions Installing the 1C:Enterprise platform of the 1C documentation. The platform version must match the 1C version in the ready cloud. You can view the version of 1C in the ready cloud in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready Cloud 1C → 1C Server Clusters → Cluster page → Settings tab . The platform of the required version can be downloaded from the 1C:Program Update service.
3. Create a private connection in the cluster settings

In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products → 1C Ready Cloud → 1C Server Clusters section.

Open the cluster page → Connection tab.

If you have an internet connection, remove it by clicking in the connection block.

Click Finish.
We recommend using a thick client connection over the Internet for temporary access only. Connection is performed via TCP protocol, any user will be able to connect to the cluster.

Optional: when the work is finished, remove the public connection in the cluster settings.
1. Create a public connection in the cluster settings

In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products → 1C Ready Cloud → 1C Server Clusters section.

Open the cluster page → Connection tab.

If you have a private connection, delete it by clicking in the connection block.

Select the connection type — Public.

Check the box I understand that the cluster will be accessible from any computer on the Internet.

Click Create Connection.
2. Install the thick client (configurator)
Install the thick client, use the instructions Installing the 1C:Enterprise platform of the 1C documentation. The platform version must match the 1C version in the ready cloud. You can view the version of 1C in the ready cloud in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready Cloud 1C → 1C Server Clusters → Cluster page → Settings tab . The platform of the required version can be downloaded from the 1C:Program Update service.
3. Add the information base to the thick client

4. Optional: remove the public connection in the cluster settings
As long as a public connection exists in the cluster settings, the cluster is accessible from the Internet. We recommend removing the connection when the work is completed.

In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products → 1C Ready Cloud → 1C Server Clusters section.

Open the cluster page → Connection tab.

Delete the connection by clicking in the connection block.
