Configure connection to 1C
You can connect to 1C in the ready-made cloud via a web client, thin client, or thick client (configurator). To connect via a thin or thick client, you must configure the connection beforehand.
Configure connection via thin client
You can connect to 1C via a thin client:
- over a private network in the Selectel infrastructure;
- over the internet from any device.
Over a private network
Over the internet
- Prepare a cloud server.
- Install a thin client.
- Create a private connection in the cluster settings.
- Add an infobase to the thin client.
1. Prepare a cloud server

Ensure you have created a cloud server in the same pool where the required infobase is located. You can find the infobase pool in the Control panel: in the top menu click Products → 1C Ready-Made Cloud → section Infobases → infobase card. You can view the list of cloud servers in the Control panel: in the top menu click Products → Cloud Servers → section Servers.

Ensure you have added the cloud server to a private subnet. You can view the server subnets in the Control panel: in the top menu click Products → Cloud Servers → section Servers → server page → tab Ports.
2. Install a thin client

Install a thin client on the cloud server. The thin client version must match the 1C version in the ready-made cloud. You can find the 1C version in the ready-made cloud in the Control panel: in the top menu click Products → 1C Ready-Made Cloud → section 1C Server Clusters → cluster page → tab Settings. You can download the client of the required version in the 1C:Software Update service.
3. Create a private connection in the cluster settings

In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select 1C Ready-Made Cloud.

Go to the 1C Server Clusters section.

Open the cluster page → Connection tab.

If you have an internet connection, delete it. To do this, in the connection block, click .

Select the connection type — Private.

Select the private network that includes the prepared cloud server. You can view this in the Control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud servers → Servers section → server page → Ports.

Click Create connection. The selected private network will automatically become available for the service project in 1C Ready Cloud. The service project will be displayed in the Control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud servers → Network section → Private networks tab → network page → Projects.
4. Add an infobase to the thin client

Connect to the cloud server where you installed the thin client.

Launch the thin client.

Click Add.

Select Add existing infobase to the list.

Select the database location option On 1C:Enterprise server.

In the Server cluster field, paste the connection address; you can copy it in the Control panel: in the top menu, click Products → 1C Ready Cloud → Infobases section → infobase page → tab Connection → Thin client.

In the Infobase name field, paste the infobase name; you can copy it in the Control panel: in the top menu, click Products → 1C Ready Cloud → Infobases section → infobase page → tab Connection.

Click Next.

Optional: change the launch parameters.

Click Finish.
Configure connection via thick client (configurator)
You can connect to 1C via a thick client:
- over a private network from the Selectel infrastructure;
- over the internet from any device.

- Add the infobase to the thick client.

2. Install a thick client (configurator)

Install the thick client; use the Installing the 1C:Enterprise Platform guide in the 1C documentation. The platform version must match the 1C version in 1C Ready Cloud. You can view the 1C version in 1C Ready Cloud in the Control panel: in the top menu, click Products → 1C Ready Cloud → 1C server clusters section → cluster page → Settings tab. You can download the platform of the required version in the 1C:Program Update service.
3. Create a private connection in the cluster settings

In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select 1C Ready Cloud.

Go to the 1C server clusters.

Open the cluster page → Connection.

If you have an internet connection, delete it. To do this, in the connection block, click .

Select the connection type — Private.

Select the private network that includes the prepared cloud server. You can view this in the Control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud servers → Servers section → server page → Ports.

Click Create connection. The selected private network will automatically become available for the service project in 1C Ready Cloud. The service project will be displayed in the Control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud servers → Network section → Private networks tab → network page → Projects.
4. Add an infobase to the thick client

Connect to the cloud server where you installed the thick client.

Launch the thin client.

Click Add.

Select Add existing infobase to the list.

Select the database location option On 1C:Enterprise server.

In the Server cluster field, paste the connection address; you can copy it in the Control panel: in the top menu, click Products → 1C Ready Cloud → Infobases section → infobase page → tab Connection → Thick client.

In the Infobase name field, paste the infobase name; you can copy it in the Control panel: in the top menu, click Products → 1C Ready Cloud → Infobases section → infobase page → tab Connection.

Click Next.

Optional: change the launch parameters.

Click Finish.
