Configure connection to 1C

You can connect to 1C in the ready-made cloud via a web client, thin client, or thick client (configurator). To connect via a thin or thick client, you must configure the connection beforehand.

Configure connection via thin client

You can connect to 1C via a thin client:

  • over a private network in the Selectel infrastructure;
  • over the internet from any device.
  1. Prepare a cloud server.
  2. Install a thin client.
  3. Create a private connection in the cluster settings.
  4. Add an infobase to the thin client.

1. Prepare a cloud server

  1. Ensure you have created a cloud server in the same pool where the required infobase is located. You can find the infobase pool in the Control panel: in the top menu click Products1C Ready-Made Cloud → section Infobases → infobase card. You can view the list of cloud servers in the Control panel: in the top menu click ProductsCloud Servers → section Servers.

  2. Ensure you have added the cloud server to a private subnet. You can view the server subnets in the Control panel: in the top menu click ProductsCloud Servers → section Servers → server page → tab Ports.

2. Install a thin client

  1. Connect to the cloud server.

  2. Install a thin client on the cloud server. The thin client version must match the 1C version in the ready-made cloud. You can find the 1C version in the ready-made cloud in the Control panel: in the top menu click Products1C Ready-Made Cloud → section 1C Server Clusters → cluster page → tab Settings. You can download the client of the required version in the 1C:Software Update service.

3. Create a private connection in the cluster settings

  1. In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select 1C Ready-Made Cloud.

  2. Go to the 1C Server Clusters section.

  3. Open the cluster page → Connection tab.

  4. If you have an internet connection, remove it; to do this, in the connection block, click .

  5. Select the connection type — Private.

  6. Select the private network to which the prepared cloud server is added. You can check this in the Control panel: in the top menu click ProductsCloud Servers → section Servers → server page → tab Ports.

  7. Click Create connection. The selected private network will automatically become available for the service project in the 1C ready-made cloud. The service project will be displayed in the Control panel: in the top menu click ProductsCloud Servers → section Network → tab Private networks → network page → tab Projects.

4. Add an infobase to the thin client

  1. Connect to the cloud server where you installed the thin client.

  2. Launch the thin client.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Select Add existing infobase to the list.

  5. Select the database location: On 1C:Enterprise server.

  6. In the Server Cluster field, insert the connection address, which can be copied in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products1C Cloud → the Information Bases section → information base page → tab Connection → block Thick client.

  7. In the Infobase name field, paste the infobase name; you can copy it in the Control panel: in the top menu click Products1C Ready-Made Cloud → section Infobases → infobase page → tab Connection.

  8. Click Next.

  9. Optional: change the launch parameters.

  10. Click Finish.

Configure connection via thick client (configurator)

You can connect to 1C via a thick client:

  • over a private network from the Selectel infrastructure;
  • over the internet from any device.
  1. Prepare a cloud server.
  2. Install a thick client.
  3. Create a private connection in the cluster settings.
  4. Add an infobase to the thick client.

1. Prepare a cloud server

  1. Ensure you have created a cloud server in the same pool where the required infobase is located. You can find the infobase pool in the Control panel: in the top menu click Products1C Ready-Made Cloud → section Infobases → infobase card. You can view the list of cloud servers in the Control panel: in the top menu click ProductsCloud Servers → section Servers.

  2. Ensure you have added the cloud server to a private subnet. You can view the server subnets in the Control panel: in the top menu click ProductsCloud Servers → section Servers → server page → tab Ports.

2. Install a thick client (configurator)

  1. Connect to the cloud server.

  2. Install a thick client, use the Installing the 1C:Enterprise platform guide in the 1C documentation. The platform version must match the 1C version in the ready-made cloud. You can find the 1C version in the ready-made cloud in the Control panel: in the top menu click Products1C Ready-Made Cloud → section 1C Server Clusters → cluster page → tab Settings. You can download the platform of the required version in the service 1C:Software Update.

3. Create a private connection in the cluster settings

  1. In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select 1C Ready-Made Cloud.

  2. Go to the 1C Server Clusters section.

  3. Open the cluster page → Connection tab.

  4. If you have an internet connection, remove it; to do this, in the connection block, click .

  5. Select the connection type — Private.

  6. Select the private network to which the prepared cloud server is added. You can check this in the Control panel: in the top menu click ProductsCloud Servers → section Servers → server page → tab Ports.

  7. Click Create connection. The selected private network will automatically become available for the service project in the 1C ready-made cloud. The service project will be displayed in the Control panel: in the top menu click ProductsCloud Servers → section Network → tab Private networks → network page → tab Projects.

4. Add an infobase to the thick client

  1. Connect to the cloud server where you installed the thick client.

  2. Launch the thin client.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Select Add existing infobase to the list.

  5. Select the database location: On 1C:Enterprise server.

  6. In the Server Cluster field, insert the connection address, which can be copied in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products1C Cloud → the Information Bases section → information base page → tab Connection → block Thick client.

  7. In the Infobase name field, paste the infobase name; you can copy it in the Control panel: in the top menu click Products1C Ready-Made Cloud → section Infobases → infobase page → tab Connection.

  8. Click Next.

  9. Optional: change the launch parameters.

  10. Click Finish.
