Configure connection to 1C

You can connect to 1C in the ready-to-use cloud via web client, thin client, and thick client (Configurator). To connect via thin and thick clients, you need to configure the connection first.

Configure connection via thin client

You can connect to 1C via a thin client:

• over a private network in the Selectel infrastructure;
• over the internet from any device.

Over a private network

1. Prepare a cloud server.
2. Install the thin client.
3. Create a private connection in the cluster settings.
4. Add the infobase to the thin client.

1. Prepare a cloud server

1. Make sure you created a cloud server in the same pool where the desired infobase is located. You can view the infobase pool in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud → Infobases section → infobase card. You can view the list of cloud servers in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud Servers → Servers section.

2. Make sure you added the cloud server to the private subnet. You can view server subnets in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud Servers → Servers section → server page → Ports tab.

2. Install a thin client

1. Connect to the cloud server.

2. Install the thin client on the cloud server. The thin client version must match the 1C version in the ready-to-use cloud. You can view the 1C version in the ready-to-use cloud in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud → 1C Server Clusters section → cluster page → Settings tab. The client of the required version can be downloaded from the 1C:Program Update service.

3. Create a private connection in the cluster settings

1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud.

2. Go to the 1C Server Clusters section.

3. Open the cluster page → Connection tab.

4. Select Thin client / WEB.

5. If you have an internet connection, delete it by clicking . in the connection block.

6. Select the connection type — Private.

7. Select the private network to which the prepared cloud server is added. You can view it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud Servers → Servers section → server page → Ports tab.

8. Click Create connection. The selected private network will automatically become available to the service project in the Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud. The service project will be displayed in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud Servers → Network section → Private networks tab → network page → Projects tab.

4. Add infobase to thin client

1. Connect to the cloud server where you installed the thin client.

2. Start the thin client.

3. Click Add.

4. Select Add an existing infobase to the list.

5. Select the location option On 1C:Enterprise server.

6. In the Server cluster field, paste the connection address. You can copy it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud → Infobases section → infobase page → Connection tab → Thin client / WEB → in the Connection address from private network field, click .

7. In the Infobase name field, paste the infobase name. You can view it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud → Infobases section.

8. Click Next.

9. Optional: change the launch parameters.

10. Click Finish.

Over the internet

1. Install the thin client.

2. Add the infobase to the thin client.

Install the thin client. The thin client version must match the 1C version in the ready-to-use cloud. You can view the 1C version in the ready-to-use cloud in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud → 1C Server Clusters section → cluster page → Settings tab. The client of the required version can be downloaded from the 1C:Program Update service.

2. Add infobase to thin client

1. Open the thin client.

2. To add an infobase to the list, click Add.

3. Select Add an existing infobase to the list.

4. Select the location option On 1C:Enterprise server.

5. In the Server cluster field, paste the connection address. You can copy it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud → Infobases section → infobase page → Connection tab → Thin client / WEB → in the Connection address from the internet field, click .

6. In the Infobase name field, paste the infobase name. You can view it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud → Infobases section.

7. Click Next.

8. Optional: change the launch parameters.

9. Click Finish.

Set up connection via thick client (Configurator)

You can connect to 1C via thick client:

• over a private network from the Selectel infrastructure;
• over the internet from any device.

The platform of the required version can be downloaded from the 1C:Program Update service.

3. Create private connection in cluster settings

1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud.

2. Go to the 1C Server Clusters section.

3. Open the cluster page → Connection tab.

4. If you have an internet connection, delete it by clicking . in the connection block.

5. Select the connection type — Private.

6. Select the private network to which the prepared cloud server is added. You can view it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud Servers → Servers section → server page → Ports tab.

7. Click Create connection. The selected private network will automatically become available to the service project in the Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud. The service project will be displayed in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud Servers → Network section → Private networks tab → network page → Projects tab.

4. Add infobase to thick client

1. Connect to the cloud server where you installed the thick client.

2. Start the thin client.

3. Click Add.

4. Select Add an existing infobase to the list.

5. Select the location option On 1C:Enterprise server.

6. In the Server cluster field, paste the connection address. You can copy it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud → Infobases section → infobase page → Connection tab → Thick client → Connection address field.

7. In the Infobase name field, paste the infobase name. You can view it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud → Infobases section.

8. Click Next.

9. Optional: change the launch parameters.

10. Click Finish.

Over the internet

We recommend using a thick client connection over the internet for temporary access only. The connection is established via the TCP protocol, so any user will be able to connect to the cluster.

1. Create a public connection in the cluster settings.

2. Install the thick client.

3. Add the infobase to the thick client.

4. Optional: when work is finished, delete the public connection in the cluster settings.

1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud.

2. Go to the 1C Server Clusters section.

3. Open the cluster page → Connection tab.

4. Select Thick client.

5. If you have a private connection, delete it by clicking . in the connection block.

6. Select the connection type — Public.

7. Select the I understand that the cluster will be accessible from any computer on the Internet checkbox.

8. Click Create connection.

2. Install thick client (Configurator)

Install the thick client using the 1C:Enterprise Platform Installation instructions in the 1C documentation. The platform version must match the 1C version in the ready-to-use cloud. You can view the 1C version in the ready-to-use cloud in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud → 1C Server Clusters section → cluster page → Settings tab. The platform of the required version can be downloaded from the 1C:Program Update service.

3. Add infobase to thick client

1. Start the thick client.

2. Click Add.

3. Select Add an existing infobase to the list.

4. Select the location option On 1C:Enterprise server.

5. In the Server cluster field, paste the connection address. You can copy it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud → Infobases section → infobase page → Connection tab → Thick client → Connection address field.

6. In the Infobase name field, paste the infobase name. You can view it in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud → Infobases section.

7. Click Next.

8. Optional: change the launch parameters.

9. Click Finish.

4. Optional: delete public connection in cluster settings

As long as a public connection exists in the cluster settings, the cluster is accessible from the internet. We recommend deleting the connection once the work is completed.

1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select Ready-to-Use 1C Cloud.

2. Go to the 1C Server Clusters section.

3. Open the cluster page → Connection tab.

4. Select Thick client.

5. Delete the connection by clicking . in the connection block.
