Copy object

When you paste an object from the clipboard, it replaces the object in the target bucket without warning.

For your information

If there is an access policy:

  • in the bucket in which the object is located — it must allow reading the object;
  • in the bucket where the object should be copied to — it should allow adding the object to the bucket.

You can copy an object to another bucket or to another folder in the current bucket.

  1. In the control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select S3.
  2. Go to the Buckets section.
  3. Open the Objects tab.
  4. Mark the object.
  5. Click Copy.
  6. Open the page of the desired baket or the destination folder in the current baket where you want to copy the object.
  7. Click Paste to current folder.
