- Optional: To create a transactional consistent backup for applications on Windows VMs compatible with MS VSS (Volume Shadow Copy Service), check the Enable application-aware image-processing checkbox on the Guest Processing step. We recommend creating a transactional and consistent backup if there are no transactional applications on the VM, for example, for common file servers.
- Optional: To enable file search in backups, check the Enable guest file system indexing checkbox. You can search and restore files without enabling this feature.
- If you checked at least one checkbox in the Guest Processing step, in the Guest OS credentials block, enter the credentials.
- Click Next.
- In the Job Schedule step, configure a schedule for automatic backups.
