VMware-based Cloud Backup service description
VMware-based Cloud Backup is an additional service for the VMware-based public cloud.
The service allows you to back up and restore virtual machines and entire vApps; it is not suitable for backing up Named Disks.
Technical description
The backup repository is physically located in Availability Zone 2.
Backup files are replicated in three independent copies.
To increase availability, all Veeam Backup & Replication™ (hereinafter VBR) infrastructure elements are duplicated or deployed in fault-tolerant virtualization environments.
The channel speed to VBR servers is not limited. Network bandwidth is up to 20 Gbps.
Payment
The backup service is paid via a pay-as-you-go model. The cost of backup storage for each virtual machine and the cost of the repository space occupied by backups are deducted from the balance every hour. Traffic is not charged.
Money begins to be deducted from the balance after a backup is successfully created. Resource prices can be viewed at selectel.ru.
