Manage PTR records
A PTR record, or reverse resource record, allows you to assign a name (domain) to an IP address. For example, mail servers check the PTR record of the sender's IP address.
The control panel displays:
-
public IP addresses from the Selectel AS (standalone system) that are used on dedicated servers, hosted equipment, firewalls, cloud platform objects (cloud servers, cloud balancers, cloud databases, etc.);
-
PI IP addresses that you announce through Selectel equipment.
