Add DNS record
If a network is connected to a zone, A- or AAAA entries in the zone are added automatically when a port is created on the network. Such entries are marked with the Auto tag. A- or AAAA records can also be added manually. CNAME, MX, TXT records can only be added manually.
Only one record of each type can exist for a domain name. If you do not already have a resource record of the correct type for the domain name, add a record. If you already have a record of the correct type for the domain name, add a value to it.
If a network is connected to a zone and you add an A- or AAAA record for a domain name manually and then create a port with that domain name, the IP address of the port will automatically be added to that record as an additional value. An Auto tag will be added to the record and it will start to change automatically when the port data changes.
You can see if the network is connected to the zone in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → Cloud Servers → Private DNS → DNS Resolvers tab → network row → DNS zone field.
