Order servers in A-DC

You can order infrastructure in A-DDC via a ticket or an application at selectel.ru. The Selectel manager will order dedicated servers, firewalls and additional services at your request.

When connecting servers in A-DDC, a typical connection scheme is used - for more details, please refer to the document Terms of Use of Individual Services: Attested Data Center Segment. If you need an individual connection scheme, you can coordinate it in the application for ordering the service.

2. Get access to the infrastructure.
3. Prepare the infrastructure.

1. Order a service

1. Create a ticket or send a request to selectel.ru with a request to order the service. Specify in the request:

   • number and configurations of dedicated servers to be placed in the A-DDC. You can select a dedicated server configuration in the control panel and at selectel.ru;
   • hardware firewall model: UserGate, Fortinet, Cisco, Continent, CheckPoint;
   • list of additional means of information protection.

2. If you are hosting network equipment or have additional fault tolerance requirements, agree on a customized wiring diagram in the ticket.

3. Wait for a Selectel employee to reply to the ticket that the infrastructure is ready for transfer. The infrastructure handover timeframe includes server assembly and depends on the connectivity scheme:

   • typical scheme - up to 10 working days. More details in the document Terms of Use of Individual Services: Attested Data Center Segment;
   • individual scheme - up to 20 working days.

2. Gain access to the infrastructure

We will notify the ticket when the infrastructure is ready and hand over:

• data for accessing the server via IPMI;
• the address, login and password of the firewall;
• connection diagram. When using certified information protection means, the "Act of installation of protection means" will be attached as an attachment.

When the infrastructure is transferred, the firewall will be prepared as follows:

• aggregation of WAN interfaces with a public IP address is configured;
• created a network interface for local traffic on the server with a private IP address. This address is used as the default gateway for the server. You can configure a different IP address;
• a network interface for local IPMI traffic on a server with a private IP address was created;
• configured port forwarding for connection to the server via IPMI;
• access from the Internet to the local network and from the local network to the Internet is configured.

3. Prepare the infrastructure

Perform basic configuration to work with the infrastructure. The network in the A-DDC is physically isolated from the Selectel shared networks, because of this it is not possible to manage the network and the server operating system through the control panel. The server will appear in the control panel with a status of No power information. The server can be configured via IPMI and the network via firewall.
