CDN resource domains
You can distribute content through a default domain and a personal domain.
Default domain
The default domain is automatically generated when you create a CDN resource. Example of default domain: a051e1d7-9f5d-4325-a2d3-947e4cd635a3.selcdn.net
A (TLS)SSL certificate is valid for the domain. Content is distributed via HTTPS protocol.
You can view the default domain in the Control Panel: from the top menu, click Products → CDN → CDN Resources → CDN Resource page → Main tab.
We recommend adding a personal domain to the resource - the use of third-party domains can make it difficult to promote the site and affect the order in the search results.
Personal domain
You can distribute content under the guise of your (personal) domain. In this case, requests will be forwarded to the default domain via CNAME record.
Only a third-level subdomain for the main domain can be used as a personal domain, e.g. cdn.example.com for example.com. You cannot use the main domain as a personal domain.
For a personal domain, you must issue a TLS(SSL)-certificate or download a personal certificate.
You can add a personal domain by following the instructions Add a personal domain to a CDN resource.
