Connect to Wi-Fi

By default, devices in the mobile farm are not connected to Wi-Fi. You can connect to Wi-Fi through the toolbar. If the Wi-Fi connection icon on the toolbar is inactive, connect to Wi-Fi through the mobile device settings.

Connect to Wi-Fi via the toolbar

  1. In the dashboard, from the top menu, click Products and select Mobile Farm.

  2. Go to the Farms section.

  3. Open the mobile farm page.

  4. Click on the serial number of the device.

  5. Click Start using.

  6. On the toolbar, above the device management window, click .

Connect to Wi-Fi through your mobile device settings

The names of the settings may vary from phone model to phone model. In fields that are not specified, leave the default values.

  1. In the dashboard, from the top menu, click Products and select Mobile Farm.

  2. Go to the Farms section.

  3. Open the mobile farm page.

  4. Click on the serial number of the device.

  5. Click Start using.

  6. Open the Wi-Fi connection page. The path to the Wi-Fi connection page varies depending on your phone model:

    • tap SettingsWi-Fi;
    • or tap SettingsNetwork and InternetInternet.
  7. Turn on the Wi-Fi toggle switch.

  8. Select the Selectel_Mobfarm network.

  9. In the EAP Method field, select PEAP.

  10. In the Second Authentication Step or Authentication Step 2 field, select MSCHAPV2.

  11. In the Certificate Authority Certificate field, select Trusted the first time you use it.

    If there is no such value, leave the field blank.

  12. In the User or ID field, enter a login — you can look in the Login field under the farm name and device serial number.

  13. In the Password field, enter a password — can be viewed in the Password field under the farm name and device serial number.

  14. Click Connect.
