PostgreSQL versions and configurations for 1C
Versions
PostgreSQL for 1C versions 12, 13, and 14 are supported.
Node configurations
When creating a PostgreSQL cloud database cluster for 1C, you can select the required number of vCPUs, RAM and [local disk] size for the nodes(/cloud/managed-databases/postgresql-for-1c/local-disks.mdx).
Two types of configurations are available:
- fixed configurations — lineups that differ in resource ratio and technical specifications;
- custom configurations — you can specify any resource ratio.
The choice of configuration depends on the number of users who simultaneously work with 1C and on the size of the information base.
Processors used depend on the selected configuration.
After cluster creation, you can change node configuration.
Available processors
The fixed-configuration and random-configuration lineups differentiate between available processors. Processor frequency affects the speed of processing user requests, executing complex algorithms, and performing data operations.
You can view the regional availability of configurations in the [Cloud Databases] availability matrix(/control-panel-actions/availability-matrix.mdx#managed-databases).
*
When the cloud server load is 100%, the processor is running with Turbo Boost technology and a maximum frequency of 3.60 GHz. Since the processor is emulated, only the 3.00 GHz frequency will be displayed during testing.
Fixed configurations
In fixed configurations, the resource ratio is selected in advance. The set of available configurations depends on pool. You can view the availability of configurations in regions in the Cloud databases availability matrix.
Standard Line
A line of fixed configurations with a balanced 1:4 vCPU:RAM resource allocation (except for entry-level and maximum configurations). Utilizes Intel® Xeon® Scalable or AMD EPYC™ 2.2-2.4 GHz processors. For a comparison of processor frequencies in different configurations, see the Available Processors table.
HighFreq Line
Fixed configurations of high-performance cloud servers. Utilizes Intel® Xeon® Gold 6354 processors with CPU speeds up to 3.6 GHz and memory speeds up to 3,200 MHz. For a comparison of processor frequencies in different configurations, see the Available Processors table.
Custom configurations
Custom configurations allow you to select the number of resources for cluster nodes:
- vCPU — from 1 to 8;
- RAM — from 4 GB to 64 GB;
- local disk — from 32 GB to 512 GB or 1 TB depending on the pool. On the local disk, about 5 GB is reserved for the operating system, service components and log storage. The remaining volume is available for databases.
Intel® Xeon® Scalable or AMD EPYC™ processors with a frequency of 2.2-2.4 GHz are used. For a comparison of processor frequencies in different configurations, see the Available Processors table.
