Scale up resources

You can increase the amount of resources in the 1C ready cloud — scale 1C server cluster and database. When scaling, you can only select a fixed configuration with more resources.

Scale up 1C server cluster⁠

  1. In Control Panel, go to Prepared 1C Cloud → 1C Server Cluster.
  2. Open the cluster page.
  3. Click Scale Cluster.
  4. Select another fixed configuration. You can only select a configuration with more resources.
  5. Click Save.

Scale 1C database⁠

The process of changing the database configuration depends on the availability of the replica:

  • no replica — the master node will be stopped while the changes are applied, the database will be temporarily unavailable for reading and writing;
  • there is a replica — the base will be available for reading and writing while the changes are being applied. First the replica configuration will be changed, then the master node will switch to the replica and its configuration will also be changed.

Configuration change time depends on the amount of data in the database.

  1. In Control Panel, go to Prepared Cloud 1C → Databases.

  2. Open the database page.

  3. Click Scale Base.

  4. Select another fixed configuration. You can only select a configuration with more resources.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Optional: customize the replica. A database can have only one replica.

    • To disable an existing cue, clear the Add Cue checkbox;
    • If the base does not yet have a replica and you want to create one, check the Add Replica checkbox.
