Balance
A single balance or cloud platform balance is used to pay for the service depending on the type of balance in the account.
You can pay for the service with different types of funds: basic funds, bonuses.
Top up your balance before paying.
Payment Model
The Selectel mail service uses a pay-as-you-go payment model — at the beginning of each hour, the balance is charged for letters sent during the previous hour.
Blocking resources if there are insufficient funds in the balance
If there are not enough funds on your balance to pay for the mail service at the time of debiting, the letters will continue to be sent in debt.
If you do not top up your balance for the amount of the debt within 14 days of the shortage, emails will stop being sent and resources will be deleted with no possibility of recovery. The debt does not burn off after the resources are deleted.
To resume sending letters, you need to top up your balance by the amount of the debt within 14 days from the date of shortage of funds. The debt will be automatically repaid.
View Consumption
You can view consumption in the control panel: from the top menu, click Products → Postal Service → Consumption.
The data is presented in the form of consumption and payment schedules. You can view consumption by project and sort it by time period. The data is updated every hour.
To upload consumption and payment details in .csv format, click Download CSV and select how the rows will be grouped in the upload (by hours, days, weeks, months, years).
Prices
The price is set for each 1000 emails sent, including unsuccessful sends.
Up to 1000 letters per month are sent free of charge. After exceeding this number, the price will depend on the number of mails sent per month:
- up to 1 million letters;
- up to 10 million letters;
- up to 100 million letters;
- over 100 million letters.
When the number of mails sent in the current month exceeds the next range, the price for the following mails is reduced.
