General information about the Mobile Farm service
The service is in beta testing mode. Mobile devices may not be available during scheduled maintenance. If the service is unavailable for longer than the time period specified in the scheduled maintenance notice, create a ticket.
Mobile Farm is a service that allows you to remotely run and test applications on real mobile devices. The mobile farm infrastructure is hosted in Selectel's data center, in the region of St. Petersburg, availability-zone 2. Once you've created a mobile farm, you'll have remote access to mobile devices through the built-in app. Virtualized mobile farm devices are only available to users of the account to which the mobile farm belongs.
With Mobile Farm, you can test the compatibility, functionality and performance of apps on different Android mobile devices. You can see the list of available devices in the Supported mobile devices table.
The service allows multiple account users to remotely test the app simultaneously on multiple devices in your mobile farm. After testing, you can view the logs and analyze the errors that occurred. All devices have the ability to access Wi-Fi to access the internet, authorization by phone number.
When using the service, please consider its limitations.
Restrictions
- If you are far away from the location of the mobile farm (St. Petersburg region, availability zone 2), you may experience network latency — the device's response to your actions may be slower.
- There is no SIM card in the devices — no ability to call and text from the mobile farm devices.
- We do not perform any additional manipulation of the mobile device to test it. For example, we cannot scan a QR code for you from your mobile device camera.
- You cannot connect peripheral devices to mobile devices.
- With prolonged and intensive use, the device may overheat and become temporarily unavailable.

- organization of infrastructure;
- mobile device maintenance.
Selectel is not responsible:
- for the compatibility of the application with the device;
- the app works on your device;
- conducting the test and its results.
Cost
Mobile Farm is in beta testing mode and is available for free. We will alert you to the end of beta testing in advance.
