Network locks

Traffic from some ports may be temporarily blocked to protect against malicious network activity. Blocking is imposed if:

  • there's a lot of spam emails coming from the address;
  • there have been complaints about the address;
  • address has been detected in DNSBL spam lists;
  • address blocked on demand Roskomnadzor.

You can look at these locks in the control panel.

Also some TCP/UDP ports locked by default.

View network locks

  1. In control panel go to Network servicesNetwork incidents.

  2. Open the tab Network locks. For each blocking, the socket and protocol, the blocking period, and the action on traffic that falls under the blocking conditions are specified:

    • discard — traffic is blocked completely;
    • rate limit — traffic is bandwidth limited to a specified value (bytes per second).

To find out the reason for the blockage and possible actions to remove it, file a ticket.

If the address does not appear in blockers, but traffic is limited

  1. Make sure:

  2. If there are no blockers on the address, but traffic is blocked or restricted, file a ticket.
