Network locks
Network locks
Traffic from some ports may be temporarily blocked to protect against malicious network activity. A lockout is imposed if:
- there's a lot of spam emails coming from the address;
- there have been complaints about the address;
- address has been detected in DNSBL spam lists;
- address blocked at the request of Roskomnadzor.
You can view such locks in the control panel.
Also some TCP/UDP ports are blocked by default.
View network lockdowns
-
In Control Panel, go to Network Services → Network Incidents.
-
Open the Network locks tab. For each blocking, the socket and protocol, the blocking period, and the action on traffic that falls under the blocking conditions are specified:
discard
— traffic is blocked completely;rate limit
— traffic is limited in bandwidth to a specified value (bytes per second).
To find out the reason for the blocking and possible actions to remove it, create a ticket.
If the address does not appear in blockers, but traffic is restricted
-
Make sure:
- that the port is not blocked by default;
- that the address is not blocked due to DDoS attack.
-
If there are no blockers on the address, but traffic is blocked or restricted, create a ticket.
