Blocked IP addresses

In the event of a massive attack on a server that negatively impacts the network infrastructure, the server's IP address can be blocked for all incoming traffic using blackhole (RTBH).

The lockdown is imposed for 8 hours and can be extended if the attack continues. You will receive a ticket when a lockout is imposed.

View blocked IP addresses⁠

1. In Control Panel, go to Network Services → Network Incidents.
2. Open the Blocked IP Addresses tab. The blocking period is displayed for each blocked address.

Unblock IP address⁠

1. Wait for the blocking to end — it lasts 8 hours and will be removed automatically if the attack has stopped. If you need to remove the lock sooner, create a ticket and wait for a response from support with recommendations on the necessary actions.

2. Optional: to prevent re-attack and blocking:

   • change the IP address of the server;
   • connect other protection type.
