Order hardware firewall

  1. In Control Panel, go to Servers and colocationMesh Screens.

  2. Click Order Firewall.

  3. Select pool.

  4. Select firewall model. Device models may vary from pool to pool. If the selected pool does not have the model you need, create a ticket specifying the pool and model, we will advise on the availability and timing.

  5. Select the VLAN to which you want to connect the firewall. If you do not have a VLAN, it will be created automatically.

  6. Select the subnet you want to protect:

    • existing subnet — select Select an existing subnet and select a subnet from the list;
    • new subnet — select Create new subnet.
  7. Optional: If you want to tell us specifics about firewall configuration or other important information, enter it in the Comment field.

  8. Choose your payment period — one, three, six or 12 months.

  9. Click Pay.

  10. Verify the details and click Pay the service. Once the application is submitted, a ticket will be generated.

  11. If you selected Select an existing subnet in step 6, go to step 13. If you selected Create a new subnet, the order dedicated subnet page opens. When ordering, specify:

    • service — dedicated servers;
    • pool — which you selected in step 3;
    • VLAN — which you selected in step 5.
  12. If you ordered a new subnet, go to ticket about ordering a firewall and write in it.

  13. In the ticket we will send the information to connect to the firewall (IP address, login, password). The maximum term for providing access to the firewall is up to five business days. If the firewall is being connected to an existing network, a Selectel staff member will make the preconfigurations and coordinate the connection time with you on the ticket. The down time will be no more than 15 seconds.
