Order servers in A-DC
To activate the service, submit an application on website or create a ticket. Dedicated servers, firewalls and additional services are ordered by Selectel manager.
On the application form, please indicate:
- the number and configurations of dedicated servers to be hosted in the A-Data Center;
- firewall model;
- list of additional means of information protection.
When connecting servers in the Certified Data Center Segment, typical connection scheme is used.
An individual connection scheme can be coordinated through the ticket system, used when placing its own network equipment, as well as when additional requirements for fault tolerance.
Service connection time — for infrastructure up to 10 working days, including server assembly for a typical connection scheme. In case of non-standard connection scheme — up to 20 working days.
Providing the service
Once the infrastructure is ready, we will send a ticket about the infrastructure readiness. In the ticket we will provide all the necessary data for access: data for access to the server via IPMI; address, login and password of the firewall; connection scheme. In case of using certified information protection means, the "Certificate of installation of protection means" will be attached in the attachment.
When transferring infrastructure on a firewall:
- wan-interface aggregation with a public IP address is configured;
- a network interface for local traffic on a server with a private IP address was created. This address is used as the default gateway for the server. You can configure a different IP address;
- a network interface for local IPMI server traffic with a private IP address was created;
- configured port forwarding for connecting to the server via IPMI;
- access from the Internet to the local network and from the local network to the Internet is configured.
To work with infrastructure, you must perform basic setup. The network in the A-DC is physically isolated from the Selectel shared networks, because of this it is not possible to manage the network and the server operating system through the control panel. The server will be displayed in the control panel with a status of "No Power Information". You can configure the server via IPMI and the network via firewall.
