Order hardware firewall

  1. Order a firewall.
  2. Order a subnet.
  3. Get access to the firewall.

1. Order a firewall⁠

  1. In the Control Panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Dedicated Servers.

  2. Go to the Firewalls section.

  3. Click Order Firewall.

  4. Select a region and pool.

  5. Select the firewall model. Device models in different pools may vary. If the selected pool does not have the required model, create a ticket with the pool and model, we will inform you about the possibility and terms of provisioning.

  6. Select the VLAN to which you want to connect the firewall. If you do not have a VLAN, it will be created automatically.

  7. Select which subnet to protect with the firewall:

    • existing — check Select an existing subnet and select a subnet from the list;
    • or new — check Create a new subnet and order the subnet after you pay for the firewall.

  8. Optional: If you want to tell us the specifics of your firewall configuration or other important information, enter it in the Comment field.

  9. Select a payment period.

  10. Click Pay.

  11. Check the data and click Pay for the service. After payment, a ticket about the service order will be generated.

2. Order a subnet⁠

If you selected Create a new subnet when ordering the firewall in step 6, the ordering page for the dedicated subnet opens after payment.

  1. On the Dedicated Subnet ordering page, in the Service block, select Dedicated Servers.
  2. In the Pool block, select the region and pool that you specified when ordering the firewall in step 3.
  3. In the VLAN block, select the VLAN that you specified when you ordered the firewall in step 5.
  4. Select a payment period.
  5. Click Pay.
  6. Go to the ticket that was created after you paid for the firewall and write that you ordered a new subnet.

3. Gain access to the firewall⁠

We will provide you with the data for connecting to the firewall — IP address, login and password in the ticket.The maximum term for providing access to the firewall is up to five working days.If the firewall is connected to an existing network, Selectel employee will perform preliminary settings and agree with you on the connection time in the ticket.Down time will be no more than 15 seconds.
