Order hardware firewall

  1. In control panel go to Servers and hardwareFirewalls.

  2. Click Order a firewall.

  3. Select pool.

  4. Select firewall model. Device models may vary from pool to pool. If the desired model is not available in the selected pool, file a ticket specifying the pool and model, we'll let you know the availability and timing.

  5. Select the VLAN to which you want the firewall to connect. If you do not have a VLAN, it will be created automatically.

  6. Select the subnet you want to protect:

    • an existing subnet — select Select an existing subnet and the subnet on the list;
    • a new subnet — select Create a new subnet.
  7. Optional: If you want to tell us the specifics of the firewall configuration or other important information, enter it in the field Commentary.

  8. Choose your payment period — one, three, six or 12 months.

  9. Click Pay.

  10. Check the data and press Pay for the service. Once the application has been submitted, a ticket will be generated.

  11. If in step 6 you selected Select an existing subnet, go to step 13. If you have selected Create a new subnetand the page will open ordering a dedicated subnet. When ordering, specify:

    • service — dedicated servers;
    • pool — which you selected in step 3;
    • VLAN — which you selected in step 5.
  12. If you have ordered a new subnet, go to ticket about ordering a firewall and write it in.

  13. In the ticket we will send information for connecting to the firewall (IP address, login, password). The maximum term for providing access to the firewall is up to five working days. If the firewall is being connected to an existing network, Selectel employee will make preliminary settings and agree the connection time with you in a ticket. Down time will be no more than 15 seconds.
