Order hardware firewall

  1. Order a firewall.
  2. Order a subnet.
  3. Get access to the firewall.

1. Order a firewall⁠

  1. В control panels from the top menu, press Products and select Dedicated servers.

  2. Go to the section Firewalls.

  3. Click Order a firewall.

  4. Select region и pool.

  5. Select firewall model. Device models may vary from pool to pool. If the desired model is not available in the selected pool, file a ticket specifying the pool and model, we'll let you know the availability and timing.

  6. Select the VLAN to which you want to connect the firewall. If you do not have a VLAN, it will be created automatically.

  7. Select which subnet to protect with the firewall:

    • existing — check Select an existing subnet and select a subnet from the list;
    • or a new one, check the box Create a new subnet и order a subnet after paying for the firewall.

  8. Optional: If you want to tell us the specifics of the firewall configuration or other important information, enter it in the field Commentary.

  9. Select a payment period.

  10. Click Pay.

  11. Check the data and press Pay for the service. After payment, a service order ticket will be generated.

2. Order a subnet⁠

If at ordering a firewall in step 6, you selected Create a new subnetAfter payment the page of ordering a dedicated subnet will open.

  1. On the page of ordering a dedicated subnet in the block Service select dedicated servers.
  2. In the block Poole select the region and pool you specified when ordering a firewall in step 3.
  3. In the block VLAN Select the VLAN you specified when ordering a firewall in step 5.
  4. Select a payment period.
  5. Click Pay.
  6. Go to the ticket that was created after you paid for the firewall and write that you ordered a new subnet.

3. Gain access to the firewall⁠

We will provide in the ticket the data for connection to the firewall — IP address, login, password. The maximum term for providing access to the firewall is up to five working days. If the firewall is being connected to an existing network, Selectel employee will perform preliminary settings and coordinate the connection time with you in the ticket. Down time will be no more than 15 seconds.
