General information about NTP
NTP (Network Time Protocol) is used to synchronize time on servers with an accurate time source.
A client is installed on the server which, in system service mode, regularly requests the exact time from the source — a specific NTP server. We recommend using Selectel NTP serversBut you can use any available NTP servers.
The OS images provided by Selectel have all the necessary settings for NTP time synchronization. If you are using your ISO image with an operating system distribution, configure NTP synchronization on the OS side:
