Change Redis user password

One user is automatically created for each cluster.

The user password is required for Redis connections. The password is set when the cluster is created, and can be changed after the cluster is created.

1. В control panels go to Cloud platform → Databases.

2. Open the cluster page → tab Settings.

3. In the block User password click Modify.

4. Enter a new password or press Generate. The password must contain:

   • 32 to 64 characters;
   • Latin letters of different cases;
   • figures;
   • special characters.

5. Copy and save the user's password — it cannot be viewed in the control panel.

6. Click Save.

7. Change the password in your application.
