Configure database disk autoscaling
Principle of operation
Auto Scaling is available and enabled by default for Standard line configuration databases, and can be manually enabled and disabled as needed.
If the database disk is 80% full within 3 hours, a scaling task will be created to prevent down time. The disk will be scaled up by 15% of the current size, but not less than 20 GB.
The scaling task will appear in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products → 1C Ready Cloud → section Databases → database page → Maintenance tab and will be executed in the next maintenance window. Increasing the 1C database disk in the control panel before scaling will cancel the task.
Auto Scaling will turn off automatically if you change the configuration to the HighFreq lineup or when the maximum disk size reaches 1.23TB.
You cannot reduce the disk size after autoscaling, as this may compromise the integrity of the disk file system and data — you can create a new database with a smaller disk.
