Copy object

When you paste an object from the clipboard, it replaces the object in the target container without warning.

For your information

If access policy there is:

  • in the container where the object resides — it must allow reading the object;
  • in the container where the object is to be copied to — it must allow the object to be added to the container.

Copy within a container

  1. in control panels from the top menu, press Products and select Object Storage.
  2. Go to the section Containers.
  3. Open the tab Objects.
  4. To copy a single object, in the menu of the object press Copy.
  5. To copy multiple objects, select each object and click Copy.
  6. Open the target folder in the container and click Paste to current folder.

Copy to another container

  1. in control panels from the top menu, press Products and select Object Storage.
  2. Go to the section Containers.
  3. Open the tab Objects.
  4. To copy a single object, in the menu of the object press Copy.
  5. To copy multiple objects, select each object and click Copy.
  6. Open the container page → tab Objects.
  7. Optional: create a destination folder in the container, navigate to it and press Paste to current folder.
