General information about the Vulnerability Scanner service

Vulnerability scanning is the scanning of public IP addresses for vulnerabilities. The certified Scaner-VS tool is used for scanning. Scanning is performed without disrupting infrastructure operation and availability.

The service allows you to meet the requirements of FSTEC Orders No. 21 and No. 17 regarding the identification and analysis of information system vulnerabilities (ANZ.1).

You can enable this service for public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses in your Selectel account.

How it works

You order the service and specify one or more public IP addresses to scan. We scan these addresses monthly and send a report in pdf format in a ticket. The report contains a list of detected vulnerabilities and basic recommendations for remediating them.

Pricing

To pay for the service, depending on the balance type in the account, the unified balance or primary balance is used.

Vulnerability scanning is billed monthly; the cost of the service depends on the number of IP addresses for which the service is enabled. The payment for the first month is deducted on the day the service is enabled. Subsequently, the service is renewed automatically, and funds are deducted from the balance on the first day of each following month.

You can view the service cost for a single IP address in the control panel: in the top menu, click Products and select Vulnerability scanning.
