Ways to connect a public cloud to a global router

A VMware-based public cloud can be connected to a to a Selectel global router to route L3-level traffic between public cloud virtual machines and other Selectel products.

You can configure connectivity in one of three scenarios. Each scenario will create a subnet in the public cloud, but the connectivity management capabilities will differ.

1. New subnet for connecting virtual machines without a client Edge router2. Linking subnet with add on client Edge router and configuring static routes3. Public cloud docking subnet with adding a subnet to the client Edge router and configuring a BGP session
