VMware-based public cloud compliance with 152-FZ

VMware-based public cloud by default meets the requirements of the Federal Law № 152-FZ "On Personal Data" — you can store and process personal data of users of the first level of security (UZ-1).

The cost of public cloud resources is specified taking into account the fulfillment of the requirements of 152-FZ, which are within Selectel's area of responsibility.

Areas of responsibility

Selectel is not responsible:

  • For setting up and managing the virtual data center, including the facilities within it:

    • vApp;
    • vApp Network;
    • Org VDC Network;
    • virtual machines;
    • Configuration of Edge rules (NAT, Firewall, VPN, DHCP);
  • for ensuring that operating system services and services within virtual machines, including VMware Tools™, databases and applications, are operational and secure.

Selectel provides security:

  • at the physical level: security and fire alarm systems, access control and management systems, video surveillance, redundancy of engineering systems;
  • Infrastructure: VMware vSphere® platform, VMware vSAN® storage platform, VMware NSX® network services, VMware Cloud Director® control panel;
  • administrator workstations.
