Recovery scenarios
To perform recovery using any scenario, there must be a consistent backup: of the entire computer (Entire computer), separate volumes (Volume level backup), or separate files or folders (File level backup).
Recovery is available at the following levels:

files and folders (File Level Restore):
- via the Veeam Service Provider Console portal (vac.selectel.ru);
- using Veeam Recovery Media (Linux only);
- using a backup agent, possible on a running machine. Recovery via the backup agent interface and command line is available;

volumes (Volume Restore) using a backup agent;

virtual machine (Bare Metal Recovery) using Veeam Recovery Media, possible if the operating system is inoperable. Recovery of the entire machine, entire disks, or separate volumes is available;

virtual machine to a cloud powered by VMware (using Veeam Recovery Media) — recovery for migrating a Linux machine to a cloud powered by VMware. The required image is already available in the library.
