Manage backup jobs

A backup job is a set of settings for data backup. You can configure multiple such jobs for each computer.

You can view and manage backup jobs in the Veeam Service Provider Console portal (vac.selectel.ru) in the Backup Jobs section.

Create a backup job

  1. In the Veeam Service Provider Console portal, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.

  2. Select the computer for which you want to configure a job.

  3. Click Create Job.

  4. Configure the backup job. Learn more about job configuration in the Veeam documentation:

Start a backup job

  1. In the Veeam Service Provider Console portal, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.
  2. In the computer row, click the value in the Successful Jobs column.
  3. Select the backup job.
  4. Click Start.

Stop a backup job

  1. In the Veeam Service Provider Console portal, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.
  2. In the computer row, click the value in the Successful Jobs column.
  3. Select the backup job.
  4. Click Stop.

Edit a backup job

  1. In the Veeam Service Provider Console portal, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.
  2. In the computer row, click the value in the Successful Jobs column.
  3. Select the required backup job.
  4. Click Edit.

View the list of restore points

  1. In the Veeam Service Provider Console portal, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.
  2. In the computer row, click the value in the Successful Jobs column.
  3. In the job row, click the value in the Restore Points column.

Delete a backup job

You can also delete backup jobs via the command line interface; for more details, see the Deleting Backups (Windows, Linux) section in the Veeam documentation.

  1. In the Veeam Service Provider Console portal, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.
  2. In the computer row, click the value in the Successful Jobs column.
  3. Select the backup job.
  4. Click Delete JobDelete.
  5. If you want to delete the backups themselves from the cloud, click Delete all.

Apply job settings from the portal to the backup agent

  1. In the Veeam Service Provider Console portal, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.
  2. In the computer row, click the value in the Successful Jobs column.
  3. Select the backup job.
  4. Click Update config.
