# Delete VDS server

Data on the local disk will be permanently deleted.

The local boot volume is deleted along with the VDS. Once deleted, the VDS and local volume cannot be restored.

1. In the [Control panel](https://my.selectel.ru/vds/default/servers/), on the top menu, click **Products** and select **VDS servers**.

2. In the <MoreVerticalIcon /> server menu, select **Delete server**.

3. Enter the server name.

4. Click **Delete**.
