Change VDS configuration

You can change the configuration of a VDS server by upgrading to a configuration with more vCPU, RAM, and disk space. You cannot downgrade to a configuration with fewer resources. To do this, you must create a new VDS server and migrate your data.

Change server configuration

warning

The server will be unavailable during configuration changes. Data on the disk is preserved.

  1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select VDS servers.

  2. Open the server page → Configuration tab.

  3. Click Change configuration.

  4. Select a new configuration from the list of available ones.

  5. Click Save and reboot. After the reboot, the server will be billed according to the new configuration.
