Change VDS configuration

You can change the configuration of a VDS — switch to a configuration with more vCPU, RAM, and disk space. You cannot switch to a configuration with fewer resources. To do this, you must create a new VDS and migrate your data.

Change server configuration

The server will be unavailable during configuration changes. Data on the disk is preserved.

  1. In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select VDS.

  2. Open the server page → Configuration tab.

  3. Click Change configuration.

  4. Select a new configuration from the list of available ones.

  5. Click Save and reboot. After the reboot, the server will be billed based on the new configuration.
