Pre-built VDS server images
Pre-built images are images with a pre-installed operating system, prepared by Selectel specialists, for creating VDS servers.
For VDS servers, Selectel specialists have prepared images with the following OS:
- Ubuntu;
- Debian;
- Windows;
- CentOS.
For each pre-built image, the working environment has been prepared, the necessary parameters configured, and the assembly performed. The images are fully compatible with the Cloud Platform.
There are no pre-built images with pre-installed applications for VDS servers. You can install the necessary software yourself after connecting to the server.
If you need a server with pre-installed software, you can create a cloud server with an application.
Graphical interface
Windows images come with a pre-installed graphical interface.
Ubuntu, Debian, and CentOS images do not have a graphical interface by default — only the command line is available. You can install a graphical interface (GNOME or XFCE) manually after connecting to the server.
