Manage backup jobs

A Backup Job is a set of settings for backups. Many such jobs can be configured for each computer.

You can view and manage backup jobs in the Veeam Service Provider Console portal (vac.selectel.ru) under Backup Jobs.

Create a backup job

  1. On the Veeam Service Provider Console, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.

  2. Mark the computer for which you want to configure the job.

  3. Click Create Job.

  4. Configure the backup job. For more information about configuring jobs, see Veeam documentation:

Run the backup job

  1. On the Veeam Service Provider Console, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.
  2. In the computer row, click on the value of the Successful Jobs column.
  3. Check the backup job.
  4. Press Start.

Stop the backup job

  1. On the Veeam Service Provider Console, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.
  2. In the computer row, click on the value of the Successful Jobs column.
  3. Check the backup job.
  4. Press Stop.

Edit backup job

  1. On the Veeam Service Provider Console, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.
  2. In the computer row, click on the value of the Successful Jobs column.
  3. Check the desired backup job.
  4. Press Edit.

View a list of restore points

  1. On the Veeam Service Provider Console, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.
  2. In the computer row, click on the value of the Successful Jobs column.
  3. In the job row, click on the value of the Restore Points column.

Delete backup job

You can also delete backup jobs via the command line interface, see the Deleting Backups (Windows, Linux) instructions in the Veeam documentation for more details.

  1. On the Veeam Service Provider Console, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.
  2. In the computer row, click on the value of the Successful Jobs column.
  3. Check the backup job.
  4. Press Delete JobDelete.

Apply job settings from the portal to the backup agent

  1. On the Veeam Service Provider Console, go to ManagementBackup Jobs.
  2. In the computer row, click on the value of the Successful Jobs column.
  3. Check the backup job.
  4. Click Update config.
