Scale up a cluster of 1C servers

carefully

During scaling of a 1C server cluster, all information bases associated with it may be temporarily unavailable.

We recommend scheduling the work during times of minimum cluster utilization and session lock for linked information bases.

When you zoom in, you can:

  • change a fixed configuration to an arbitrary configuration and vice versa;
  • change the number of resources in the current fixed or arbitrary configuration — vCPU, RAM, network disk size. The number of vCPU and RAM can be decreased or increased, the disk size cannot be decreased.
  1. Optional: set session lockout for the duration of the work.
  2. В control panels go to Ready cloud 1C1C server cluster.
  3. In the cluster row, look at its status — if the cluster is in status MAINTENANCEThe cluster is undergoing maintenance and is not available for scaling. Wait for the maintenance to complete. See the instructions for details Maintenance window.
  4. Open the cluster page.
  5. Click Scale the cluster.
  6. Select the configuration: fixed or arbitrary. The number of vCPU and RAM can be decreased or increased, the disk size cannot be decreased.
  7. Specify the required amount of resources. 90% of the selected amount of RAM is used for cluster operation, the remaining 10% is reserved for Apache web server operation, which is responsible for maintenance of information base web publications.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Optional: If you set session locking in step 1, take it off.
