Rent of additional ports

For additional network connectivity between equipment in server placement and rack rental, an additional port can be ordered on Selectel access switches.

Internet ports and local ports of different configurations are available for ordering.

Internet ports

When ordering an Internet port, an additional Internet channel to the placed equipment is organized, a separate copper or optical cross-country is laid (depending on the port configuration). An additional IP address is not allocated, IP addresses from previously allocated subnets must be used. Traffic is counted according to the traffic consumption model that is selected for the server.

Local ports

By ordering a local port, an additional local network with guaranteed data exchange speed is organized between the hosted servers. To link several servers in a local network, you need to order a local port for each of them. After ordering and paying for the service, a separate copper or optical crossover is laid to each server (depending on the port configuration).
