Order Colocation

1. Check that the server is up and running and meets our requirements:

   • Terms of Use for Individual Services: Colocation;
   • Specifications. Placing equipment with a single power supply in a server rack;
   • Specifications. Placing equipment with two power supplies in a server rack.

2. In Control Panel, go to Servers and Hardware under the Hardware Placement tab.

3. Press Locate Equipment.

4. Select the pool, select the equipment format, and specify the serial number.

5. Click Go to Checkout.

6. Select a payment period.

7. Click Pay.

8. In the opened window with information about ordered services and total cost of placement click Pay server.Funds will be deducted from the Main Balance.

9. After paying for the service, you will receive an email with instructions on how to prepare and place equipment in the data center. If you have special accommodation requirements or would like cab delivery of equipment, create a ticket.

The service period is calculated from the moment the equipment is installed in the rack and connected to the network. After connection the scheme of traffic accounting by speed (100 Mbit/s channel and unlimited traffic) is set. You can then change the accounting scheme, more details in Traffic Consumption Model.

The server is managed remotely:

• temporary IP-KVM connection is available on request via the ticket system. The monthly fee includes 10 hours of IP-KVM usage, further the service is provided for a fee. To learn how to connect IP-KVM, see Connecting an external KVM;
• If the server supports IPMI, iLO or their third-party counterparts, you can lease an additional dedicated port on the network equipment to access your server from the outside.
