Order equipment placement

1. Check that the server is up and running and meets our requirements:

   • Terms of use of individual services: Equipment placement;
   • Specifications. Placement of equipment with one power supply unit in a server rack;
   • Specifications. Placement of equipment with two power supplies in a server rack.

2. В control panels go to Servers and hardware tab Equipment placement.

3. Select project.

4. Click Place the equipment.

5. Select the pool, select the equipment format, and specify the serial number.

6. Click Go to checkout.

7. Select a payment period.

8. Click Pay.

9. In the opened window with information about ordered services and total cost of placement click the button Pay the server.Funds will be deducted from the Principal Balance.

10. After paying for the service, you will receive an email with instructions on how to Prepare and place equipment in the data center. If you have special accommodation requirements or wish to have equipment delivered by cab, file a ticket.

The term of service provision is calculated from the moment the equipment is installed in the rack and connected to the network. After connection, the traffic accounting scheme is set by speed (100 Mbps channel and unlimited traffic). The server is managed remotely:

• temporary IP-KVM connection is available on request via the ticket system. The monthly fee includes 10 hours of IP-KVM usage, further the service is provided for a fee. To learn how to connect IP-KVM, please read the article Connecting an external KVM;
• If the server supports IPMI, iLO or their counterparts from other manufacturers, you can rent an additional dedicated port on network equipment to access your server from the outside.
