Save and load Selectel firewall configuration file

You can create a backup of the configuration file to save the Selectel firewall settings. To restore settings, upload the configuration file.

Create a configuration file backup

  1. Connect to the Selectel firewall via GUI.
  2. In the Diagnostics menu, go to Backup & Restore.
  3. Open the Backup & Restore tab.
  4. In the Backup Configuration section, configure the export settings.
  5. Click Download configuration as XML.

Load configuration file

  1. Connect to the Selectel firewall via GUI.
  2. In the Diagnostics menu, go to Backup & Restore.
  3. Open the Backup & Restore tab → Restore Backup section.
  4. Select the backup file.
  5. In the Restore ares field, select which area to restore.
  6. Click Restore Configuration.
