Configure network access to the UserGate firewall

By default, connections to the firewall GUI or console interface are allowed for all addresses.

You can limit the list of addresses from which access will be allowed.

  1. Connect to the firewall.

  2. Go to Settings → Network → Zones.

  3. Click on the name of the Management zone.

  4. Open the Access Control tab.

  5. Make sure the checkbox in the row of the service you want to configure access to is checked:

    • Administration Console — to access the graphical interface;
    • CLI over SSH — to access the console interface.

  6. In the row of the service you want to configure access to, click Any.

  7. Click Add.

  8. Enter the IP address from which you will connect to the service, including the subnet mask.

  9. Save your changes.
