Connect to the UserGate firewall
The firewall can be managed through a graphical and console interface.
Graphical interface

Open the page in your browser:
https://<ip_address>:8001
Specify
<ip_address>
— IP address of the firewall. -
Enter your username and password.
You can connect to the firewall using the SSH protocol.

Open the CLI.

Connect to the firewall:
ssh <username>@<ip_address> -p 2222
Specify:
<username>
— login;<ip_address>
— IP address of the firewall.

Enter your password.
View the IP address to connect to the firewall
Hardware firewall
Virtual firewall
Look up the IP address in ticket that you received when you ordered the firewall.
Use the IP address that you assigned when you configured the firewall.
To see the address:
- for a virtual machine in a VMware private or public cloud — in the control panels go to VMware-based cloud → Cloud Director → data center page → virtual machine page → section Hardware → NICs. In the line NIC 0 copy the value into the field IP Address;
- for the cloud server is in control panels go to Cloud platform →Servers → server page → tab Ports. In the Internet port line, copy the value in the field Public IP. If this field is empty, copy the value into the field IP address.
