Configure rules on the Selectel firewall

Rules are configured for the network interface. The rules are checked from top to bottom of the list.

  1. In graphical interface from the main menu, go to Firewall → Rules.

  2. Select the network interface for which you want to add a rule.

  3. Click Add. The arrow defines the position of the rule in the list (above / below).

  4. Customize the rule. Actions are available for selection:

    • Pass — traffic is being allowed through;
    • Block — traffic is blocked without response;
    • Reject — traffic is blocked with the answer.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Click Apply Changes to apply the configuration.
