Give up the virtual firewall

If you do not cancel your firewall before the last day of the paid period, it will automatically renew and will continue to be charged.

After disabling the firewall, the screen image rental charges will stop and all infrastructure protected by the firewall will be unavailable. To avoid an outage, reconfigure traffic to bypass the firewall in advance.

Charging for cloud resources will continue with the payment and pricing model cloud server either private or VMware-based public cloud. To avoid this, manually remove the cloud resources that the firewall used — for example vCPU and RAM servers, public IP addresses.

Give up the virtual firewall⁠

  1. In control panel open the account menu (account number) in the upper right corner and select Balance sheet and payments.
  2. Go to the section Services.
  3. Open the service page UserGate VE certified firewall.
  4. On the menu. select Deactivate monthly payment.
  5. Click Deactivate payment. The firewall will run until the end of the paid period, at which time you can resume service.

Resume service⁠

  1. In control panel open the account menu (account number) in the upper right corner and select Balance sheet and payments.
  2. Go to the section Services.
  3. Open the service page UserGate VE certified firewall.
  4. If the status of the service is anything other than Activeyou can't restore the service. Order a firewall again and make the setting.
  5. If the status of the service Activein the menu. select Include monthly payment.
  6. Click Enable payment. The first payment will be debited when the remaining paid period ends.
