Order servers in A-DC
To activate the service, send an application to selectel.ru or file a ticket. Dedicated servers, firewalls and additional services are ordered by Selectel manager.
On the application form, please indicate:
- quantity and dedicated server configurations which will be hosted in the A data center;
- model hardware firewall: Fortinet, UserGate, Cisco, Continent, CheckPoint;
- list of additional means of information protection.
When connecting servers in the A data center, the following is used typical connection diagram.
If you are hosting network equipment or have additional requirements for fault tolerance, you can coordinate a customized wiring scheme in the ticket.
Timing of infrastructure transfer:
- with a typical connection scheme — up to 10 working days, including server assembly;
- individual connection scheme — up to 20 working days.
Service provision
After the infrastructure is prepared, we will send a ticket about the readiness to transfer the infrastructure. In the ticket we will provide all necessary access data:
- data for accessing the server via IPMI;
- the address, login and password of the firewall;
- wiring diagram.
If certified information security features are used, a "Certificate of Installation of Security Features" will be attached as an attachment.
When transferring infrastructure on a firewall:
- wan-interface aggregation with a public IP address is configured;
- created a network interface for local traffic on the server with a private IP address. This address is used as the default gateway for the server. You can configure a different IP address;
- a network interface for local IPMI server traffic with a private IP address was created;
- configured port forwarding for connection to the server via IPMI;
- access from the Internet to the local network and from the local network to the Internet is configured.
To work with infrastructure perform basic setup.
The network in the A-DDC is physically isolated from the Selectel shared networks, because of this it is not possible to manage the network and the server operating system through the control panel.
The server will appear in the control panel with a status of Нет информации о питании.
You can configure the server via IPMI and the network via firewall.
